In the middle of the season you want add the failings of a pro style OC to our spread scheme with a young QB who is having a hard enough time as it is. But let's add to his plate with a different offensive concepts to throw in the mix. You really think this is a good idea? Horrible idea

And who runs a similar system as he does that's left on our schedule? Arkansas? Bama is multiple now with a lot more spread concepts.

In the offseason if they want to shoot ideas off each other that's one thing. Coaches do that all the time. But no value to him as a consultant midseason and quite possible just make the offense worse. I mean his wasn't pumping out even average offenses down there. Very very poor

I think you guys are missing the point. Cameron has been hamstrung by Miles the entire time. Give the guy some real QB's to work with, and his offense will work, of course he needs some guys in the trenches as well. I am not saying hire him, but it all starts with the QB. Several have said it here. If Dak was at LSU, they would have been in the playoffs and probably in Atlanta too.

Right on Scooba. Some people think just because you hire a consultant they will be coaching. I'm sure CC has seen his share of defensive schemes. And could give his 2 cents more than a OQC coach that has been coaching for 2 years.
