That's not obsession....Its our job. The Bares would love for us to "in fight" and call each other obsessed. Anything to keep us from talking about
THA HAMMER that's comin down on that arse.
And anyone that doesn't think everything here should be about the bears is a certain troll! So your either an OM obsess-or or a troll on this board it seems. I have been reading here for a long time, and finally decided to start participating, and just because I don't fall in line with everything "bear," I must be a bear. Give me a break, some of you are overly obsessed, plain and simple. I'm not saying that we should never talk about them, because some things should be talked about, but when posters start making excuses for why they win, or gee, I hope this guys transfers, then they just sound like jealous kids that feel left out. Why do we have to make ourselves look like that is all I'm saying? I will say it again, who cares what Patterson does? I'm more interested in what Fitz does. This thread gives the impression that we are worried we can't win or compete with them unless we get "lucky" and Patterson transfers. The "old Po Old State" syndrome is alive and well here!

Ok, so talking about them cheating is fine, but if we have the mental capacity of a 4 year old and can deduce that rampant cheating might lead to more wins for them, that's obsessed. Brilliant dude, just brilliant.
The "I'm a dumb Old State" fan is live and well.

Freeze isn't a dummy. He knows burning that RS would likely result in Patterson leaving next year after sanctions are announced. It would allow Patterson to use the RS season as his "sit out" season. Would make life a lot easier for the kid.
I wonder how Freeze was justifying this to his family. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during those conversations. Ole lying Hugh at it again.
As I posted earlier freeze implied to the family that OTF problems with MGK would result in early PT.

ClangaDawg, I'm sure you are reading this, because any child who goes to a board pretending to be someone they are not, is undoubtably too self-absorbed to stay away. So here it goes.
ClangaDawg, FU-K YOU. Going on another board, for whatever reason you had for doing so, does not change this one very important fact: the NCAA is going to stomp Ole Miss a new asshole. Deal with it however you wish but deal with it. Perhaps posing as an MSU fan was cathartic? Just remember, no matter how hard you wish, the NCAA is not going away. Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze are FU--ED.
You're Welcome,
Dolphus Raymond

I agree, out them all and it will soon stop
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

It'll stop once sanctions come down.
They'll be too embarrassed to visit this site then.

It'll be easier to spot the few that do come on after sanctions. They will be the ones trying to start rumors about our players being in trouble either legally, NCAA wise, or both. They'll post things like I hear XXXXX was given $25k and a hooker named Michelle if he'd come visit, and if he signed they had a judge that would make his dad's gambling incident at a certain Tunica casino go away.

Where can I find "Michelle"?

Agree. You have to dominate in-state first though. You can't let the good 3 stars, 4 stars and 5 stars in your backyard go somewhere else. If you're allowing that to happen you have to go find a replacement from FL or TX or GA, which means you need to target 4 kids and hope you get one. It's more resource intensive, takes more time, and is a much harder sell.
Step One: Get everything you can get that will help you win inside the Magnolia State.
Step Two: Find quality depth and/or starters from Juco.
Step Three: Fill the gaps with out of state kids.
This has been, and always will be, our best approach to recruiting. I'd be interested if others think differently.

Bingo. Network trying to shut down the chatter. And some of the folks here actually bought in. It's hilarious to me when people don't immediately recognize their BS.
News Flash: Patterson not playing has A LOT to do with the ongoing NCAA investigation. Period.
