Lineman with hands down
I cant remember where I heard it talked about but it was very interesting. I believe it might have been on the B&B Show. He talked about how Dan's first few years the linemen got down with their hands on the ground and how that gave the linemen leverage when running the ball. Now the linemen always has their hands on their thighs and it makes it harder to get leverage to push guys around. What are your opinions on this?

It probably leads to us being a finesse passing team instead of a power run team. We seem to be more successful when we run the ball more but lately we are going 50/50 or leaning more towards pass.

It's a good point. Shows change in mindset more than anything. Interesting.
While it is much easier on our tackles to pass block rush ends from a two point stance, it is much easier to fire of ball and stay low in a three point stance.

Is it all positions on the line or just the tackles?

Hevesy only has to teach one technique now. His job was stressing him too much so this made it easier on him.

He must've been spending too much time on the recruiting trail.**

This is from last year. Clearly shows the guard with his hand down
