Isaac Gross
Even though someone said that the coaches talking on the SEC Network a couple of days was a re-run from Media Days, did anyone else hear Freezus say that Isaac Gross was back? I thought he had one of those neck injuries where the next hit could be 'it'. If he is back, that's huge for them. He's a helluva player and one of the very, very few that I respect up there.

i'm fairly certain he's back. and an ole miss colleague of mine said he's put on about 20 lbs of muscle. he is really good. wonder if that added weight will slow him down any

Yes he was good but you got to think any neck injury would slow him down. Great first step but always a little undersized

Ranked #12 today in the Coaches Poll, but could easily start 1 and 3 and then the dumpster fire really starts. They may be deep, but didn't they lose most of their starting OL?

I agree. Feel like he's small, but his quickness/agility make him a headache for centers and guards. think he's a 6th year senior now.

He was forced to play inside out of necessity. Northern Miss did a really shitty job recruiting DTs prior to Kimchee. Gross should have been out at DE. Being so small and playing inside is what caused his neck issues. Another career basically destroyed by Northern Miss because they suck at life.

I thought he was always an interior guy, just a tweener. Stud enough to be good though until his body broke down from being so small.
