I'm not sure the idea of a only- or mostly-Power 5 baseball division is viable since not all of the P5 schools are willing to invest in baseball. It would up travel costs significantly, especially for the Pac-12 since there aren't that many teams out west as it is. If upping the scholarship limit meant that only 150 or 180 schools fielded D1 baseball teams instead of 295, I could live with that.
