Not sure who's supposed to be an elite recruiter on this staff.
Coggin may very well be excellent in a few years, but he's inexperienced at this level. Cohen hired him to save money to pay Henderson more. Problem is that Henderson has not been a lead recruiter for years. Brad Bohanon was the lead recruiter at Kentucky.
So, in a sport that's all about recruiting, MSU has no elite recruiter. I'm not sure this staff works.

Recruiting great players will never be a problem for Cohen or Howland. In baseball and basketball, we will be fine as far as talent is concerned. Football on the other hand...

Just how good was the Miller kid? If clemson didn't have room for him until this late, I wonder if this is considered a huge blow. I don't think clemson has a better program than we do by any stretch of the imagination.

I agree that given his rating its odd that if he has truly always wanted to go to Clemson why he didn't go there to begin with? Obviously there is a little more to the story.

Well commits for 2019 is fine but that doesn't help the 2017 class. Hopefully no more assistants leave between now and 2019.

Truth is most 2017s are off the board.
