I think it depends on whether or not their ace pitches on Friday. If it is their ace, I think we HAVE to go with Hudson to match him.
If not, it's gotta be either Pilkington or Houston.

Hudson should pitch in the game we're least likely to win without him, regardless of when it is on the calendar.
If SEMO is throwing their ace, that's probably a harder game for us to win than a Saturday game against LT/CSF, so that's the one that should get Hudson.

Remember that we may need to pull a Bianco and start a guy twice. I lean towards Hudson on Friday and hopefully we can pull him early because we get up. Let Sexton go Game 2.
I typically would be an advocate for this but damn, we drew a tough hand.

In the 2013 regional, did Cohen throw Graveman in game 1?

Yea graveman threw Friday, polo Saturday, fitts sunday, and bracewell Monday. But Saturday and money were bullpen games after the 3rd.

The thing to remember there is we had lost two out of three to Central Arkansas earlier in the year. That was a big reason why we threw our ace. I remember he threw Pollorena against USM in a regional opener in 2011 because Pollorena had dominated USM in Pearl that year and sure enough Pollo shut them out. He threw Stratton against Samford (3 seed) in 2012 and he threw Fitts against San Diego State in 2014.
No idea what he will do this time, but like I and others have said it probably depends on whether SEMO throws their ace or not.
