Exactly. The Admin know this, but the problem is they'll be butting head with Archie and Dickie Scruggs and a lot of bourbon soaked alumni who still think Freeze was recreating their '60's heyday. It will take a little fortitude for Vitter to dump Freeze and Bjork.

The next press conference may be weeks and when it occurs heads will roll, who's head is what they are trying to figure out right now. If I'm on the hot seat with not knowing if I have a job or not, I'd take the money and be done and find another career.

Everybody needs to understand this salient point by commerce.

This is far bigger than sports, they have possible fraud, accreditation and other legal implications that must be considered. The problem is that the one or two honest among them know that the rest are crooks and do not want to go public without being able to answer questions truthfully. freezus' reputation is total crap as is bdork so they can't go in front of the press.

I am guessing that Vitter is getting outside help internally investigating the Ath dept to get to the truth or some semblance of it. They are going toe quiet for a long time.

It's probably already been pointed out, but to me Bjork and Freeze's silence is the most telling sign of guilt. They have been known to repeatedly respond to twitter trolls, pump up and defend the school and program at any chance, and threaten folks with wrestling belts. And now they're getting crucified in the media nationwide and they're silent? Pretty telling in my opinion. Either they have a gag order from OM admin and/or lawyers, or they don't want to give any more ammo to the investigation, or both.
