One phase of the NCAA process has now been skipped
The hiring of Slive indicated the investigation had entered in to the "negotiation, coercion, intimidation" phase.
If you don't think our friends to the north would try all 3 with the NCAA, you are have more faith in them than I do.
Last nights events did something I've not seen anyone discuss, that phase is now over.
Any NCAA official who was being coerced or intimidated has a path out.
The violations being entered so convincingly into the public light means the official will look over the top suspicious if they suggest leniency.
