    Jeffrey Simmons potential

I'm really excited about this guy. I watched him for one game against Oxford at the Medicomp 7 on 7 last summer in Madison. The guy is a freak athlete. He was playing tight end for Noxubee's team and was running great routes, had great quickness, and great hands catching the ball. He's built similar to Chris Jones but much quicker in my opinion.

Simmons, Adams, Kobe, and Mullins. That's going to be a nasty DL.

Simmons is going to be my favorite bulldog for the next 3 or 4 years for saving us on signing day. He prevented a total meltdown for us and he put a damper on OM's big day.

As for his on field play, he's a guy that David Turner can and will move all over the place. He is a pass rushing DT and those type of guys are hard to find.

Kobe and Simmons were certainly heroes for us today. Proud of them!

He'll throw cold water on it soon. Don't worry.

Did you see the tweets back and forth this morning? Even a player chimed in.

I'm curious as to where he will end up. I think he will be like Fletcher Cox and put on about 25-30 pounds between now and the fall and grow into a DT. Can probably play 3-4 DE if we move to the 3-4.

Fletcher Cox is the correct comparison. Big shoes to fill though.

Immediate help where needed too. He makes us better come kickoff 2016. Huge pull.

And everyone here should know what he walked away from and what kind of a person he is for choosing to grind. Momma raised a good one.

Spencer has a chance to be a great one. Be interesting to see how he develops after a RS year.

I don't watch a lot of recruiting videos but after watching his state championship game and the MS-AL game Simmons is the one player in Mississippi that looked can't miss to me. (AJ Brown was #2. I think he's going to be a stud but I'm no expert.)

Yes! They deserve a lot of love. They all do, but especially these two.

He does realize he's a true freshman, doesn't he?

Ha. He does play true freshman despite what some think. We don't start true freshman very often though. He made that comment about a couple of guys today though.

Anyone have a copy of the UM war room when Simmons picked us. I would love to see it.
