The Ninja calls out South Carolina
This is odd. I wonder if South Carolina pissed him off?
Kinda wish Stricklin would do this with Mullen, but I don't think Mullen has been offered a job.

Great news! @CoachRodAZ did not commit to the offer from S. Carolina. He's an Arizona Wildcat. #BearDown

So is Meathead Muschamp going to be the new South Carolina Coach?
-
Byrne must have had big holiday plans. Didn't want to start a search.

I hope so because, if so, we'll win that game next year 17-6.
I was scared of South Carolina hiring Rich Rod & hoping Manny & Mullen could scheme up a way to stop his offense.

I was scared of USC signing Rich Rod because I want Mullen gone and us to hire him.
-
Saw where there may be another sitting coach in play, but it's been kept hushed. Several speculated if it was Boom, they would have announced by now. I think they thought they might get Rich Rod and Boom was the back up plan. We will see.

With their current roster, Rich Rod wasn't going to do jack there next year. Much less in the first couple weeks of the season.

JC Shurburtt
@jcshurburtt
South Carolina did not offer Rich Rodriguez its head coaching job. All signs continue to point toward Will Muschamp.
Personally, I trust Byrne's sources over JC Shurburtt's.

Wasn't happening unless Rich Rod was without a job.

IDK, Rich Rod is one of those guys that finds a way to score points. Your probably right, but I'd much rather be facing Muschamp's offense than Rich Rod's

Boom may the single most accurate nickname that any human being has ever had.

It's pretty obvious they don't want Muschamp. And I think they are trying to exhaust every option before they have to settle on him. I don't blame them.

If it was me, and they may have done this, but I'm throwing a number a Jeff Brohm that makes it hard to refuse. Brohm has said he has turned down some schools already this year but he is about primed for a move up.

As I said the other day- we're stuck with Dan until we fire him. THAT'S NOT THIS YEAR though.

I agree. He's not even a back up plan for me.

I have a feeling Muschamp probably reached out to them. They're going to end up looking for another new coach in about 2-3 years if I had to guess. We should kick their butt in Starkville next year.

Oh he did and got Spurrier to give a good word and has been working on a possible staff even, supposedly.

Whoever overs a job to Boom over Rich Rod should be swiftly kicked in the nuts then fired.
-
I don't think that either Rich Rod or Boom would be "horrible" hires given the options S Carolina has at this point...

No.
Easy there buddy. Tusk is...well Tusk is Tusk. Tireddawg 12.20.17

Rich Rod would be fine. Boom couldn't succeed at Florida.
