I'll be watching the Glynn Academy Red Terrors in a tough 1st round match up against Jones County tonight, so no cooking.
Tomorrow night is supposed to dip into the 40s here - which is got damnd cold for south GA. I'll get a pot of 3 bean chili on at half time and start a fire and pour another bourbon as we show the world that Dak ain't done. This is going to be a fun 4 weeks of football as we shock the world (again).

I stopped by a new meat market in Brookhaven and picked up a couple thick ribeyes and some bell pepper and cheese smoked sausage. I will figure out tomorrow's meal tomorrow. If it's worth of a mention I will let y'all know.

Taking it easy tonight. Tomorrow I'll probably throw some pepper jack deer sausage and a couple steaks on the grill. Hope to wash it down with some celabratory bourbon. Hail State!

Went with a tri-tip steak tonight:

Served with asparagus and some fine blue cheese on the side:

Tonight's nightcap will focus on the 10 year olds: Eagle Rare and Old Scout. If the outcome is what I think it will be tomorrow, we will break out the 20 year olds to celebrate.

I had a few drinks off a Four Roses 2015 Limited Edition Small Batch in Louisville, KY Wednesday; and boys, if you can find this, buy all you can. It is Pappy good.

We did fried turkeys and drank way too many beers to drown the sorrows away.

Decided since we got banged like a $10 hooker yesterday, I'd commemorate it by fixing Bangers and Mash for dinner tonight.
