STARKVILLE, Miss. - Affectionately named ?The 1878 Club,? honoring the University?s founding date, Mississippi State University Athletics and GameDay Traditions announced today the unveiling of a brand-new game day tradition for Bulldogs football fans.

The 1878 Club will be the first-of-its-kind in the Southeastern Conference and will feature a neighborhood collection of custom-made, premier suites that are specially designed for tailgate entertaining, complete with a rocking chair front porch, a cozy, temperature-controlled interior suite with a private restroom and an outdoor shaded entertainment area. The 400-square-foot individual suites feature many luxury home amenities such as hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, stainless steel appliances, four HD televisions, a refrigerator and television with exterior access from the covered entertainment area.

GameDay Traditions will begin marketing the 1878 Club, its distinct game day hospitality suites for fans at home games this season, officially marking its entry into Mississippi State?s corporate partner family. While the structures will be physically in place for the 2016 season, fans can view and walk through a one-of-a-kind model during this fall, starting on October 10 when Mississippi State hosts Troy. The relationship between the Bulldogs and Atlanta-based GameDay Traditions was secured by Bulldog Sports Properties, which is a property of Learfield Sports and the exclusive multimedia rights partner for Mississippi State Athletics.
