    Ordered basketball tickets today

plus SEC tourny tickets. I went over and looked over the redone weight room last week. I sure doesn't look like weight rooms I have seen before. Every thing is hydraulic run by compressed air. I bet we see a lot fewer injuries this year. Enjoyed talking to the new weight coach, he is really personable and loves what he is doing.

This was the first day the team and Howland had seen the new equipment as they had only finished installing the day before.

I didn't recognize Ware at first , he is really toned down, he is one big dude and not carrying any extra weight. Thomas has really bulked up and is a carbon copy of Sword now. I predict he and Ware will be the difference makers this year.

Ncaa allows the coaches to work with 4 players at a time now for 30 min. So they were rotating them in groups of 4. All shooting drills.

By the way, I saw Shaffer's new prize recruit from Texas, I doubt there will be much being pushed around under the goal this year by opposing teams.

Thanks for the updates. The new basketball "performance center" is supposed to be the most up-to-date basketball conditioning facility in the country- college or pro. A lot of cutting edge stuff going on there with Deets.

Great to here that report. I am getting extremely woolly thinking ahead to both the men's and women's basketball seasons.

On the women's side, it will be very interesting to see what affect the new physical training regimen will have on LaKaris Salter. She already possessed extremely quick feet and hands and a great shot. Couple that with improved mobility and endurance she will become tremendous force as a hybrid 3/4. Same can be said for Jazmine Spears. As I have said before, this is going to be an extremely exciting year for MSU in athletics. It is going to be tough to focus on one sport, MSU fans should be thoroughly exhausted come April and then baseball and softball kicks in. Going to be an exhilarating year to be a fan of all MSU sports.
