No Wells, slit will be covered by a corner this year.
Good news for the LBers but it will make it harder on coaches to get personnel in and out vs some teams.
Its not really fair to ask a LB to do at times anyway, we just had the luxury to do it with Matt.
"One of the changes this year under defensive coordinator Manny Diaz will playing more corners. Former linebacker Matt Wells covered the slot receiver most of the time. This year, MSU will use a corner."
