I can't be the only one who has no idea who any of those three musical groups are...but, otherwise it will be an awesome weekend. Back-to-back wins over LSU are so close that I can almost reach out and grab them.

I have no idea who any of the bands are either. Why are they trying to set the record for ringing cowbell at Cowbell Yell instead of the game?

I'll be at the Molly Ringwalds concert. That will be the best place to be Friday night

Am I getting old? I have no clue who those bands are? I mean I'm only 28 so I don't think I'm old. Are these bands popular with college and high school kids?

Local natives is kind of a "hipster" band, indie rock stuff. They're very talented musicians, but their lyrics can be a little hard to decipher.
X Ambassadors are more mainstream, they actually had a song in one of the highlight videos last year. Of the three, they're probably the hottest right now.
Don't know much about Misterwives, but I think they're a lesser known band with a cult following.

These bands are not for everyone, but I think they did a good job of bringing in groups that are different from what they usually have. Hopefully it helps change the perception some people have about Starkville/MSU.

Surely it's Rick's. I haven't really known them to play elsewhere in town...

I stand corrected. I thought the Dawg House was where State Theatre was for so many years?

Well if it isn't Alice in Chains, STP, or Metallica I probably haven't heard it. I don't listen to the radio much

Didn't someone here suggest going after the Guinness World Book of Records for most cowbells rung at one time? Glad someone is paying attention.

Only for the scenery...80's cover bands aren't my idea of a bash.

It is. It wasn't the Bistro.

Molly Ringwalds...have seen them many many times in Jaxn but will still be fun to see them that Fri. night.

I've never heard of any of those bands either. I'm not as young as 28 but I'm not old either.
