    My other team - Celtic - just hired former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers to replace Ronny Delia.

    I don't know what to think about that. They both seem to produce teams that underwhelm. Celtic barely plays any competition to speak of - unless Rangers get back to their old form now that they have been promoted back to the Premiership. They just seem totally hopeless on the Euro stage once the field starts to narrow. I don't think Rodgers will be the one to get them over the hump and contend for the UEFA Champions League cup. What do you think Liverpool?

    Rodgers should be up to the Scottish League. He ain't a bad manager. Celtic will probably never contend in the modern champion's league so that really shouldn't enter into it. I also like Celtic, they are my favorite team outside England. Liverpool and Celtic's fanbases have a great relationship so it's no surprise we both like them. I'm very glad to see the Old Firm back business. It was no fun with only on half of it in the League.

    Yeah, I guess SPL is a little more MLS level play than Euro elite level. They also tend to lose some of their best talent to the EPL. I saw that The Hoops had a 16 year old phenom - Atchison - score on his first touch in the final game of the season. Good things ahead for Celtic.

    Celtic isn't MLS level, nor is a normal Rangers. The rest of them usually are pretty far down the scale though.
