Didn't the SEC just put a rule in place that prevents transferring in if they have an assault charge?

Freeze, much like The Blues Brothers, is on a mission from God.

Yep. He'll never step foot on a SEC campus.

Freeze is going to try and pray that rule away. He's going to find about 15 sick grandmothers of his and move them into Tunsil's house after they move out.

This is news to me. I thought that was just part of them relaxing the Masoli rule. So once you get in trouble, you can't transfer to the SEC period?

I actually think that's overboard unless it's a violation that would prevent any student from being accepted.

I think it's domestic violence and in no instance is that overboard.

Does the rule apply to a charge, or a conviction?

"SEC schools passed a rule in May barring the signing of any athlete disciplined for serious misconduct at another college stop. The new rule defines a serious offense as "sexual assault, domestic violence or other forms of sexual violence.""

"As adopted, the proposal states that "a transfer student-athlete who has been subject to official university of athletics department disciplinary action at any time during enrollment at any previous collegiate institution (excluding limited discipline applied by a sports team or temporary disciplinary action during an investigation) due to serious misconduct (as defined herein) shall not be eligible for athletically-related financial aid, practice or competition at an SEC member institution.""

I wasn't aware of that new rule. If it's enforced that would appear to prohibit him from the SEC. That's only if he was officially kicked out at FSU. If they mutually parted ways to avoid official discipline then he would be good to go.

Someone on here called this and said they were serious and I laughed. My apologies to that poster.
