    We averaged 8.5 runs a game last week, scoring at least 7 in ever game, and still went only 2-2.

    And that's against an extremely weak SEC slate, with 3 of those series at home. These numbers are far more likely to get worse over the next 2+ weeks than they are to get better.

    One more win vs Auburn/Alabama, and a few midweek wins, would make a lot of difference right now. 6-6 or 7-5 in league play, and only 8-10 losses overall, and we're sitting in decent shape at least. We really shit our pants against a weak schedule so far. I know, captain obvious.

    We had to expect a drop off from our pen with Lindgren and Holder getting drafted but nobody expected Ross to struggle this bad. 7's stat that Ross has pitched in 11 of our last 13 losses is ridiculous.

    Yes, and I can't really figure out if its all just the change in the baseball seams or if folks have just figured out how to deal with his junk after seeing it for four years. I do know his control is not what it has been, not sure if that's also related to the new baseball.
