It's fun to see a team actually hit shots

The southeast region (SEC) is so far behind others as far as basketball fundamentals. The Bears have already quit from sheer awestruck of the Joseph Smith disciples.

Not only shoot, but set screens, box out, pass the ball, dribble-drive, etc. It's called basketball, a sport we have been pretending to play for a long time.

Om made a trip to rupp that ended in ot. Byu is better tonight certainly, but I think "awestruck" is a reach...

Byu's defense is bad. Om may get back in this game if the byu 3's stop falling.

I hope byu beats them by 30 bc they're Om and bc I'm sick of Bo bounds bragging on them.

I'm jealous even if they're getting beat

OM could definitely get back in it. Need to extend the man2man D (which they just did) and deny that first look when the shooter immediately cuts and catches it off his screen. Keep playing physical and don't make stupid TOs. BYU tries to make you play anxious on offense. With that said, hope they get blown out by 50.

UM is longer and way more athletic. They're also out-hustling BYU and winning all the 50/50 balls.

This game was over when Kennedy finally decided to be aggressive extend his D beyond the 3 point line.

BYU just allowed a team to score 62 on them in a half. That is embarrassing.

You have to be able to change up your style of play when necessary. That 'fly down and jack up a shot' style is awful when you're ahead and the shots stop falling.

I legitimately wonder how many times we even scored 62 in a game this year. Might look that up.

Yup. Now they are officially in the tournament, lol.

Hey, it must be nice playing in the Tourney. Maybe we'll be able to do that in a decade or so...after we're a NIT bubble team next year, then all our seniors graduate, just so we can watch the patented Rick Ray basketball "rebuild" go back into effect. I'm psyched**.

I was impressed with their shooting ability, yes. I don't remember saying anything other than that though.

Agree that if we could get a couple of their shooters to put with the rest of our team that actually plays some defense we would be greatly improved.
