Runs Created + Other Stats Update

Production has definitely dipped recently from where we started. Cody Brown is an exception though. He has been tearing it up lately. Spruill has also shown improvement lately and should have earned some more playing time.

Another trend I see is CS being too high. We only have about a 70% success rate stealing. Statistics have shown you need to be at about 80% for it to be worth it.

    Good stuff.

What is the significance of the green? Obviously, its good, but are there certain standard thresholds that make a figure green?

It would be cool to see the SEC average and high for each category for a frame of reference.

The green and red is just a highlight of the best and worst on our team. I'm not sure if I'll be able to obtain that SEC comparison, but I can look into it.

Its obvious that a big part of our offensive under performance this year, especially in recent games, is the disappointing performance so far by John Holland and Reid Humphreys. Most thought these would be 2 big keys to the offense this year and both have been non-factors for the most part. Missing a healthy Gavin Collins for the first full month hasn't helped either.

There are 3 names I kept hearing about in the fall: Hump, Holland, and Smith. None of them have really have had a significant role so far. I keep waiting for Hump to start showing some signs of improvement, but I don't see it. He looks pretty awful most of the time. To me, Holland looks identical to Bradford at the plate, and he's getting similar results. To be fair, Smith hasn't had many chances, but he hasn't shown enough to justify taking another OF out.

The lack of XBHs recently is quite alarming. If you take away all the infield hits, it gets even worse. We just aren't stinging many balls of late.

I agree completely. Yes, we need our leaders to do what they're supposed to do too, but there's no excuse for how poor Hump and Holland have been so far. We need them to find their groove soon, or they need to have their playing time cut more.
