    Well, I was hoping he would choose a different number

    to reflect more of his nickname, but looks like AK-47 will wear Eli's old number this year. Wonder what the elite think of that?

    If he can manage to win a couple games, it'll be him "stepping into Eli's shoes and continuing his legacy" or some such nonsense. If he blows up & tanks, it won't be his number that they gripe about.

    I'm surprised they haven't retired Eli's number already. I mean he won two Super Bowls for them.
