one thing I do remember about Diaz

Is that his seemed to make really good half time adjustments almost every game. From what I remember his defense gave up next to nothing after the half while he was here. Add a little better talent all around and maybe some better assistant coaches than he had previously to help him and I believe he could be a great hire. He sure seemed to have the fire that we need........

2nd half points allowed in 2010
    Memphis - 7 (W, 49-7)
    Auburn - 0 (L, 17-14)
LSU - 17 (L, 29-7) (I think I remember this one having lots of offensive turnovers.)
    Georgia - 6 (W, 24-12)
    Alcorn - 0 (W, 49-16)
    Houston - 14 (W, 47-24)
    Florida - 7 (W, 10-7)
    UAB - 14 (W, 29-24)
    Kentucky - 7 (W, 24-17)
    Alabama - 10 (L, 30-10)
    Arkansas - 21 (L, 38-31) (including 7 in OT)
    Ole Miss - 14 (W, 31-23) (late 4th quarter, if I remember right)
    Michigan - 0 (W, 52-14)

So, of the 258 points we allowed (19 a game), 117 came in the 2nd half (9 ppg after halftime).

ETA: Just looked it up - we threw 5 picks against LSU in Baton Rouge that year. I am amazed we only lost 29-7 and gave up 264 yards.

Ha! Diaz looks like the dude from Seinfeld.

"Who! Who doesn't want to wear the ribbon!"

    The ladies like him though.

I hope if it is Manny, that he will locate his home somewhere in town or down S. Montgomery and not go back to the back side of Browning Creek. Very nice residential community but a long ways from work and pretty isolated out there. Maybe his wife and kids would be a little happier living a little closer in like CDM and the rest of the coaches.

Beggars can't be choosers, maybe she should try getting a job that makes that much money.

Great job. And actually, those numbers don't totally do him justice because some of those points other than those you mentioned were allowed in garbage time. Memphis and Georgia come to mind.
