it's not the few losses. it's the lack of any quality wins. in 3 years we've probably got under 5 quality wins. That's unacceptable. He's got half a season to get it corrected or the Hump will be behind tennis in attendance.

I don't want to cut anybody but the coach. For me, it's time. He needs to feel the heat, and the AD needs to be searching with the understanding that unless he wins "x" amount of games, he's replaced.

The SEC is getting stronger. You have Auburn with a good hire, UT with a good hire, Arkansas coming on, and Stans at A&M bringing in great players. If this was not his year to make a little noise, it will not be next year without major recruits.

Fred scored 16 with 9 rebounds. He avg's 13 pts and 4.8 rebs. He's our best defender. What's your problem with Fred?

Just like baseball was in year 3... He's got 10-15 opportunities for quality wins remaining.

His problem is that he can't take back how full retard he went about him last season...

Thing is, even if Ray does turn in some improvement, the usual suspects will be demanding his firing every year regardless.

Don't believe me? Just remember how lots of people were demanding to fire Cohen during Year 3 (the year we ended up 6 outs from Omaha despite a shaky start), Year 3 (the year we won the SECT), Year 5 (the year we finished 2nd in the country), and Year 6 (the year we finished 18-12, our best SEC record since the 1980s).

Every year, the same people forget what happened the previous year and get back on the "fire Cohen" bandwagon. It really doesn't matter if Ray does turn it around -- the usual suspects will demand his firing 1 one from now regardless, and 2 years from now, and 3 years from now, etc.

I don't have a problem with Fred. He has played much better lately. Engie keeps bringing him up like it changes the fact that we suck ass. An awful basketball program is my problem not Fred.

I bring it up because it's just another in a long line of examples that show how ridiculously impulsive you are... You are -- and always have been -- a prisoner to the last 15 seconds.

Maybe so. I don't need the building to be a pile of ash before I decide it's on fire. Fred has played better. Nobody is denying that. Maybe Fred heard some of it and it motivated him.
