    Lincecum

Didnt realize he's in the last year of his contract. Does Stratton replace him next season?

Doubtful. Last I saw, Stratton was only in High-A. That's still a long way from The Show. Plus, Lincecum won't command the contract he would have 3-4 years ago. He's a very average pitcher now, so the Giants could re-sign him relatively cheaply.

Not just no, but heck no. Stratton will likely start in AA next year. He is going to have to prove that he can get those hitters out- like EVERY pro player, and I think he will- before he even gets a chance. I think they are being careful with him after he got hit in the head last August during a game. With their pitching depth, I think he starts out in the bullpen in MLB.

He's actually at their A ball team in Augusta. Their high A ball team is in San Jose.

Had no idea he's still in a ball. He's still listed as their #3 pitching prospect. Kevin gausman already at the show with the orioles.

Gausman also throws in the high 90s and averaged nearly 10 k's per game in Double A this season.

Wow. I knew he was good. Thought Stratton was just as good. Hopefully Stratton catches back up soon
