Having been eating my way around Savannah since Tuesday, I'm keeping it simple, and it is just me and Brunswick Jr. this weekend (wife and daughter gone).

Friday Night: My Dad hit the whiting running on the Little Satilla Wednesday, and we have 24 nice fillets to fry with hush puppies after sipping on some Makers while listening to the Glynn Academy Red Terrors in the first round of the GA Playoffs.

Game Day: Bloodys, moving to burgers for lunch, and more Makers. Having to time a quick meal between MSU/Bama & AU/UGA, so again simple. Some scallops and local fresh Wild Georgia Shrimp, blackened, over 3 cheese tortellini and steamed broccoli in a mushroom alfredo and some pinot grigio to call the nerves.

We will finish off with hand rolled Cuban seed cigars from Rodriquez in Key West as my VICTORY cigar for Saturday night.

Going back to basics after too many weeks off. It's ****** game wkd and it's 20oz cowboy ribeye. Start with some Navan on the rocks and head to the fat cabs. Tomorrow will be makers all day and in honor of tomorrow's game sealing our trip to Nola for the sugar we got some duck and andouille gumbo to crush. Tomorrow night? Who the **** knows

Bloodys for the game sounds good. I'm trying to deside if 2:30 is too late in the day for bloodys.

Tonight, I'm trying some Michter's bourbon. It'd pretty good. I'd put it in my top 5. But for $40, it's not as good as Woodford Reserve or Four Roses Single Barrel.

Anytime before 4:00 is still ok for bloodys, especially once the weather turns cold.

I've got a brisket on that should be done in about 2 hours. For drink, last night I bought a bottle of Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban scotch. I'll be ready ready.

Shout out to Beastman. I tried the applewood bacon wrapped redfish last night. Outstanding choice. Thanks for that tip last week and the instructions.

Awesome. I got the idea myself from online. I'm definitely going to do it again.
