    Premier League Thread: Week 11

For Christ's sake, could the Foxes be any worse off? Seriously...3 straight losses to Newcastle, Swansea, and West Brom is the current streak. The Foxes faithful are getting restless with the squad and Nigel Pearson, our Manager. Hopefully, this weekend changes things for the Foxes in the #18 slot in the table. Yes...that means the Foxes would be Relegated if the season ended today. Not good at all. This weekend, we face off against Southampton on their pitch. Sadly, it doesn't look like the Foxes will pull this out since Southampton currently occupies the 2nd slot in the table. Seriously....I'm not happy.

Newcastle is heating up. They beat West Brom yesterday and have climbed from near the bottom of the table to somewhere in the middle

Well, as you said, the Saints handled business at home against Leicester City. We won 2-0. The first half was tough and there were a lot of set pieces in play, but nobody got through. Second half was more open, and we got both goals by Shane Long. Southampton continues to have a stingy defense, still allowing only 5 goals in 11 games. That helps us lead the league in goal differential, but we're still stuck behind undefeated Chelsea.

Next game for the Saints is on the 24th at Aston Villa, currently sitting at 16th.

Hull City has gone into the crapper the last couple weeks. After a tough loss to Southampton, Hull was defeated by the mighty Burnley. It was Burnley's first win of the season. Injuries have taken a toll on the Tigers, but manager Steve Bruce has firmly planted his head up his arse with the lineup the last two weeks. Andy Robertson, a budding young star who had started every PL game of the season, hasn't logged a single minute the last two weeks despite being one of the club's best players the first 9 weeks. Hatem Ben Arfa also sat this past weekend.

That said, Bruce hammered Hull's effort against Burnley and described the performance as "flaming awful." Hull will play Tottenham in a home game at The KC Stadium on November 23 following the international break.

I was wrong about Burnley. We are about to storm back to win the league*. Okay, maybe not, but our first win hopefully gets some momentum going and we can at the very least put up a fight to stay in the premiership. Don't see it though, just not enough talent to compete.

As for Real Madrid. We keep winning. And showing why we are the reigning european champs and best team on earth. I smell a treble coming

Shout out to Newcastle handing Chelsea their first Premier League loss of the season. Newcastle's rolling after starting the season horribly.

It was great to finally see Chelsea go down. I bought a friend, who's a Chelsea fan, a 6 pack of Newcastle beer as a consolatory gift.
