I just got back from touring the expansion.

This thing is phenomenal! From the gridiron club to the scoreboard club, everything is top notch. If you haven't purchased a ticket to the new expansion and if you can afford the gridiron club, do it! That is an unbelievable atmosphere down there. You literally are right in the action. There is plenty of space inside out of the elements and you can still see out too. Pictures really don't do the expansion justice. I hope everyone gets to go on a tour before the season starts.
As far as everything being complete, there are just a few odds and ends that need to be competed. Everything should be good to go on next Saturday. The bricks around the big state of Mississippi still haven't been complete but other than that, you couldn't tell anything was incomplete.

I think the gridiron is pretty awesome. The expansion really brings the stadium to a whole different level.

The Gridiron opened August 30th, 2014, as part of the North End Zone Expansion and is located on the field level of the north end zone. This premium area transforms the north end zone into a member?s personal lounge for football games at Davis Wade Stadium.

Open two hours before kickoff and throughout the game, members and guests in the Gridiron enjoy approximately 15,000 square feet of interior lounge space, featuring locker storage for personal items, food and beverage stations, and high definition televisions. The Gridiron is exclusive to members and their guests on game days, and only those individuals with proper passes are admitted.

Membership to the Gridiron does not include a ticketed seat; members have seats throughout the stadium. Any current season ticket holder may purchase a membership to accompany his/her current season ticket package.
