#1 recruits
Who was the #1 2014 recruit?
2013? Kimdeechy
2012?
2011?
2010? Clowney?
2009?
Besides being a #1 croot, Kimdeecy has been pumped a lot by the OM spin machine. Tim Brandos. Clarion Ledger. Rivals via Yancy. Hell, what if OM is slipping franklins to other writers for a couple of mentions...
OM seems to get a lot more mileage out of signing a #1 croot than your average D1 school would.
Ain't complaining. Just admiring. Their booster network does good work, but so does their PR network.
Watch and learn.

I believe Dorial Green-Beckham was #1 in 2012

2012 was Dorial Green-Beckham, the former Mizzou receiver who just transferred to Oklahoma after beating a girl up.

By any chance is she suing him for $2,000,000?

Per Scout:
2014: Leonard Fournette (RB, LSU)
2013: Nkemdicky
2012: Green-Beckham
2011: Clowney
2010: Seantrel Henderson (OT, Miami)
2009: Bryce Brown (RB, Tennessee)
-
2 of those 6 are in the NFL and 1 is a 1st pick overall and the other Bryce has been in the NFL for 3-4 years now.

Beating up a girl or not, he's gonna make OU really hard to stop. Seen some projections of them being #1 preseason in some polls. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the playoffs this year

Me too. What flimsy dip shit excuse are they even trying to get him eligible this year?

I've read that he can somehow. Think bc of how the case went, but I haven't seen anything about it in a long time so I'm not sure. I'll try to see
ETA: after some digging I saw a few places say he's trying to get a "hardship waiver", whatever that means. I don't know the case circumstances but that's seems a bit far fetched
