I suggest everyone to follow @TMassonFISH

on twitter @TMassonFISH . He is the outdoors writer for Nola.com and does an outstanding job covering fishing and hunting. His last article was about drum fishing on lake p. That's one place I want to fish for big trout next time they run.

    Here's his latest article

Cool dockside video in the article. They make my favorite trout bait, the matrix shad. They also make great videos

    Here's another recent article http://www.nola.com/outdoors/index.s...ulls_maki.html

    Done.

I've been watching those Dockside videos for a while. I was talking to my brother this weekend about possibly booking a charter to fish Lake Pontchartrain.

Ya the dockside videos are excellent. If it's a trout trip, I'd wait for Lake P. But if you want to catch fish, those charter guys will put you on em no doubt. I always wonder how the big trout make that run and you catch them on those bridges in Lake P but you rarely here about fisherman in MS catching trout on the BSL or Biloxi Bay bridges. I've always wondered about that.

I catch quite a few between the bridges in BSL, but I think most of them make a quick transition from the rivers & bayous to the front beaches. There are always some hanging around the bay, but it seems the large numbers move on through pretty quick. You are right though, I never hear of anyone (or myself) catching many under the bridges.
