What advantage do we have over playing Mississippi at Patrick Swayze Field?

**** them with Ross and Laster on the mound we can take the first two.. Ross, Laster, Lindgren, Holder.... All we need.

**** Ole Miss until they nut up and make it I will never make or agree to that prediction. ESPECIALLY against us in the postseason

Wash is done with. Trent's pitch count is good. OM may have back-to-back complete games. Hope I'm wrong...

I know UM is pretty decent, but Wash doesn't seem like they will be much of a threat. It just feels like it's on the verge of being a cake walk regional for UM.

Ole Miss is pretty good. It will take us or ULL to keep them from Omaha.

Washington is the anti-ULL in my ratings. They are much better than their #24 RPI suggests. Ole Miss got a tough draw with this club.

OM with a pitching change. That's a good thing, because Trent was dealing.

Greenwood will strike out next 2 on 6 pitches. No chance of hit, wild pitch, or a score in any way

They are very good, and they just seem to be on a mission since we got to the finals of the CWS last year. They have used it as motivation, feeling as though they were just as good as us last year, so "why not them?".

It eats them up that we made it, and they are DETERMINED to not let us get a further leg-up on them. This has helped inspire them to work their asses off and to keep their focus at a high level all year long. If they make it to Omaha, it will take away one of the things we beat them over the head with relentlessly. That is also great motivation. They want to bury us as much as we want to bury them. If they make it to Omaha over us, it wipes away our momentum. If they actually win the damn thing, it will be intolerable.

They are playing for keeps this year. Beating them (or them beating us) in their super regional would mean so much more to us and them than to just make a CWS. It is entirely possible they have been wanting it more than we have this year. And "want to" can go a long, long way toward helping a team find the drive and grit needed to step up their game.
