1 week from today I will be heading here for 5 glorious days

my favorite stretch of trout stream ... takes about 3-1/2 hours for this run ... it goes away from the road then comes right back to where we parked so no long hike back uphill .... in 28 years of fishing this section I have never seen another angler in there

The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Eastern Tenn.... wilderness area on the Citico watershed ... just on the Eastern side of the mountains from Telico Plains ... a few of the men in the family go every year about this time for the last 30 yrs ... we trout fish, drink beer, play cards, nap, trout fish again, fart, basically just do whatever we want. It is a stocked stream but the stretch pictured above is remote enough to allow native breeding ... those fish aren't the easily caught stockers like the ones one the road , they have been there a while but there are plenty there because it hardly ever gets fished - just too rough & too hard to get out of the gorge

I figured it was western Carolina or eastern TN. love that area.
