I can buy that. I am also hopeful to see a MSU overachieve.

Like the year of Sherrill's cardiac dogs. WHAT THE HELL was in their Wheaties?

and none of that was against an SEC defense

They scored 84 on Savannah State
    lost to Arizona 59-38
    Laid 65 on Hud
    Scored 20 on Kansas (that's 1-11 Kansas)
    lost 41-36 to Texas
lost 51-48 to Oklahoma (whom A&M beat as bad as us)

They only game they won that wasnt in Stillwater was over 1-11 Kansas- 20-14

I've been telling you all from the beginning that we are going to be hell next year. Gravedigger your observations are valid, and run back to the beginning of the 90s in regards to MSU football. The OL makes ALL the difference. Russell's going to erase the MSU QB curse, just as Mullen has erased the coaching graveyard stereotype. This is the year we take down either LSU or Bama, and we WILL win the Egg back.

I'm more concerned with stubbing our toe vs. the Pokes and Auburn. Really, REALLY need to take care of business on the plains.
