    Turkey season

    Starts this weekend. Anyone other than me fired up ready to go? Not only am I hunting opening weekend for the first time in several years, I am also chasing the elusive birds with my grandpa. Best of luck to anyone else that is planning on getting after them this weekend.

    You kidding, already losing sleep over it! I've got a bird patterned out and I'm dying to get on him. He'll be my first bird and my first with a bow if all goes according to plan! Good luck!

    Good thing about having a kid is that it's already been open for a week. My daughter got a 2fer (one shot) on opening morning on a group of 7-two year olds. Would post a pic but some of you may be a warden and would ruin her first turkey experience.

    Did anyone have any luck this? I had a gobbler and 2 hens come in this morning but the ol boss hen hung up about 100 yards and I couldn't compete with her to win the gobbler over. He came in to about 70 yards but he wouldn't come in any further.
