We just can't hit. We have NO pop in the lineup. I know Cohen wants to

play small ball but this shit is not small, it's micro...........

Our pathetic offense appears well on its way to wasting another good outing from Mitchell. And Robson should be replaced by Hendo immediately. He gives us nothing at the plate.

Is it me or does it seem like the fun isn't in our program like lady year.

We need Henderson and Garner in the lineup rather than Robson and Cody Brown. With those two, our hitting is a LOT better. I'll also say Gavin Collins over Cody Walker. We're hitting with six guys right now.

I actually thought Robson and Brown have a much better chance to become really good contact hitters than Hendo or Garner. No?

It's not fun when you aren't very good.

    Exactly.

Collins and Henderson were getting hot -- so we sat them. Same really with Garner. This lineup is 6 deep at best.

One gripe I have about Cohen is sitting guys right when it seems they are getting hot and really starting to figure it out. That can take you out of a groove in a hurry as a hitter...

And this team is one popup and lazy fly ball after another. At least try to make the other team have to make plays.

Baseball is as much about now as anything. Robson might be a better player in the long run than Demarcus- but right now Demarcus has more experience and is playing better. Garner is also playing better. It's not so much like football where it's- OK, you are the slot guy, you are the QB, you are the OT.

For all we know Robson and Brown may end up having better years than Demarcus and Garner- but right now Garner and Henderson are playing better. If that changes, we should also make changes accordingly.

no contest right now. I agree. I've thought Brown has been solid in spots already this year though and getting those guys reps early in the season is good... so long as we don't lose because of it.
