I did not even know UM played last night, but.......

Murray State hit a grand slam in the top of the 15th and won 12-9. You really hate to see it.

Most of their fans didn't know either. It looked like it MIGHT have been 150 people there.

15 inning loss on a Wed to a door knob team before playing possibly the #1 team in the country. Gotta love it

And using I think 9 pitchers last night when you HAVE to win probably AT least 4 games in the next two series to be in the tournament.

Man, losing the game is tough, but covering 15 innings of pitching before this weekend is really tough

They'll hire Godwin. Bianco is going to "retire" and they'll call McDonnell and all their people will talk about how much he loves Oxford and how he's definitely going to take it....and then they'll hire Godwin.

Why would Godwin leave EC? Its his school and he has a damn near lifetime contract- thru 2029 right now. Top 20 most seasons. Mississippi could give a significant upgrade in pay but that doesnt move the needle for most baseball coaches

They had a MOU with him when they thought Bianco was going to take the LSU job in 21

Elliot missing last season was our equivalent of losing Sims the season after

Would Godwin take the job if Bianco is pushed out? Or does it need to be that only if Bianco leaves on his terms.

I'm not saying it wont happen- but I'll be surprised if they get him. However, he is 46 now. He's at the age where the window to get him is closing. The timing may be right this summer for him to make a move.
