    Mershon and Winning Games

    Taking out the early games where Mershon did not play...

    When MSU wins, Mershon hits 396
    When MSU loses, Mershon hits 205

    When Mershon gets 2+ hits, 85% winning percentage
    When Mershon gets 1 Hit, 76% winning percentage
    When Mershon gets 0 Hits, 50% winning percentage

    I think he’s my favorite. Always plays hard, great defender, and a tough out a the plate. That’s why I was pissed at him when he sat on third with that infield pop up.

    Mershon is a great example of a ?dirtbag? ball player. In my opinion, there is no better complement for a baseball player than to be tagged a dirtbag.

    He's just a smart baseball player. He makes winning plays and very rarely makes plays that hurt us.
