    Blake Shapen

is more talented than anything we've had at QB for the last 6 years.

Super impressed with his grasp of the offense, his arm talent, his pocket presence, footwork, arm slots, etc.

Pretty much does everything better than Will Rogers.

This offense was fun to watch. Much more organized and competent than what we've seen. Now the defense is probably trash, but it's nice to be exciting on offense for a change. Fun times ahead

He's got a 20 minute highlight reel on YouTube. It is legit.

I’m wanting to get excited, but everything he did today was against second string d. His talent is obvious though and he is a huge upgrade.

Apparently we looking to get Jaden Rashada of Arizona state to visit. Most likely going to Georgia. Be interesting where beck goes if Rashada goes to Georgia

Beck is entrenched. Rashada would be going there to start in 25-26.

I was at the spring game it was way better than the spring games since Mullin. Yes the defense concerned me especially second team. But what I like the most was the crispness of the players. No lazy walks back to the huddle no jumping offsides maybe one not may missed blocking assignments or clean defensive players straight to the QB. Holes for running backs to go to. This appeared to be a well coached team. Refreshing!

The overall look on offense was light years ahead of last year (i know last year was trash) but encouraged to see the hustle and newness.
Shapen MUCH stronger arm and equally as accurate.
Parsons is much improved as well.
I know its a spring game, but Defense needs a fire lit under them.
Corners are gonna make it so that if State wins, it will be in a shoot out.
    But time will tell.

Because he lost the qb job in the spring at Az State. He has to go somewhere if he wants to play.

Yes. And I was joking about him adding the s and making it "plural" - like there's more than one Parson.

i don't know why when we have a good offense our fans always switch to well, we don't have a defense though. or vice versa! I get sick of you negative 17ers. State traditionally has a good defense, what u bitches going to complain about next the cheerleaders are too fat.

Yeah trouble with spring game. O does well, then D sucks. D does well, O sucks.

The O is going to be good, we got playmakers, OL surprised me in a good way. Both sides played vanilla so not lot to judge. I saw some plays made on both sides of the ball. I saw WRs making plays on the ball. I saw some great cuts and moves by RBs, great throws by QBs. Parson has improved and looks comfortable now with green light to run too.

I feel as good as I've felt in years coming out of spring and that says a lot with no big names talent wise and a new coach. I didn't feel this way the last 3 coaches that first spring. Well maybe 18 but that was due to talent returning, not Moorhead.
