Now this is something we all can agree on(probably), lol

Thanks for proving my point. So, we have one that wins a NC and literally nobody is after him. Why? Everyone knows he won with someone else's talent. This is his year to either shit or get off the pot.

I agree you have to keep winning. The winning with someone else's player thing is overblown. In our illustrious history we've had plenty of coaches in every sport here for years that had their own players and never won a national championship. We have exactly one nc in our whole history regardless of sport, one, and Lemonis won it with or without his "own" players, doesn't matter because it had never been done here. Now if he can't get it done we move on and he's on the block right now.

Who would come after him? He is top 5 in salary and so are his assistant coaches. We are a National brand in college baseball. Best stadium and at worst top 5 in facilities. I didn't realize that LSU or Texas had openings. Those are about all the programs that I would even worry about. This isn't football. No one is poaching our baseball coach unless we let them go like Cal at UK.

Or if they had a big time "home" - like Pat McMahon did with UF. It's not like Lemonis is going to take cut and go "home" to The Citadel

I could see him potentially being interested in South Carolina or Clemson. South Carolina has been down for awhile compared to what they were in the early 2010's and their coach hasn't exactly matched their expectations.
I don't think anything is imminent there but I could definitely see them potentially making a chance and Lemonis being someone they could be interested in especially if he has a good season this year which he can very legitimately blame on Foxhall.

I had/have no problem with Jans interviewing with Arkansas but why on earth would he let that leak to the media?
So how come MSU fans show up to baseball games and not basketball games???- MSU media personalities
