I just saw where we have baseball starting at 11:00 this morning.
Trying to beat the weather. This will probably result in the smallest crowd to ever witness a baseball game at DNF.

Yeah and it looks like Nolan Stevens is starting on the mound and hitting for himself, no dh. Interesting move.

Yes it is. Need to keep up with it as best I can and see how it works out.

He is the dh so he can still hit after he comes out. Needs the AB's

Yeah I worded that wrong. I should've said he's starting and dhing for himself. Thanks for keeping me straight, you know i'm getting old! And he does need the abs

Today's assignment in AP Euro History is watching State Baseball

Stevens is looking serviceable. Not great Not bad just ok IMO Basing that on the level of competition.

UCA up 5-1, top of 3rd. Forsythe comes in and they hang a 5 spot.

Not sure how much Forsythe is gonna help us this year. He's has some time off and he's still not ready.

This is a good thing considering we're getting our ass kicked by Central Arkansas. We have been no hit thru five innings.

Meh. It is a Lemonis Coached team. Until that changes, expect to lose mid- week games and road SEC series at a very high rate. He can't recruit!

Yep. You hate to face those pitchers that throw the same speed as your BP coach that you smash everything he throws. Let's go with that.

First few years under Lemonis we rarely lost a midweek game. Now, we lose them regularly and always start slow in them even when we do win. I figured an 11:00 start wouldn't help things. Should have just cancelled. Our midweek pitching is one thing but being no hit by UCA thru 6 is embarrassing.
