To an extent, yes. However, Kentucky still should've beat them last night. Oakland had one guy(Gohkle) triple his avg and one guy(Cole) double his average. They had crazy nights and will likely regress back to the mean tomorrow. Add that to Shepherd and Wagner, both double digit averages, combining for 3 pts and you can see why this happened. Cal also had just a terrible gameplan. It seemed like every time they would get downhill they had either a open dunk, dump to the post for a dunk, or a kick out for a 3. Yet they would come down, run some unnecessary set that they looked confused on and would turn it over.
