When the bottom of this lineup is just adequate, this offense is very good. It all depends on the bottom 3rd pulling their weight so we have runners on when the top of the lineup comes around.

I agree with you 90% of the time, but Mersh is probably my favorite. He's so valuable.
Plays multiple positions. Switch hitter and puts the ball in play. Can sacrifice or bunt for a hit. Puts pressure on when he's on the bases. Great attitude.
Just a ballpayer.
