Outfielder has to take charge on that play. Infielders never call the ball they go until they hear the outfielder call them off and that's exactly what happened

Noooooo- Cupp moved because Chance called him off. Cupp makes the play if Trout stays out of the way
And thats why Trout was removed from the game and Downs put in

Right! The infielder never calls it he goes until outfielder calls it and chance called him off and cupp got out of the way, like he's supposed to.

Came back and officially ruled it a hit. Not defending Chance. Absolutely inexcusable for a guy who has been an automatic out as of late.

We've got 11 errors this year, we had 26 at this time last year. I've had no issues with the defense.

Exactly and games like this do happen on occasion. We've been really good all year.

So if the errors and walks in this game are the primary reason State loses you are okay with it? I see your point. If we bunch all of our errors and that causes a loss it isn't nearly as bad as committing 3 costly errors per game.
