    Baseball coaches

If we're limited on coaching staff, with nil, why go after recruiters. We need coaches that can get the most out of their guys then pay the players to come. Yes you need someone who can recruit but make a list of best coaches and out of that group then pick the best recruiter.
Our hitting sucks. We have two "hitting coaches"on our staff and can't hit (Lemonis was hitting coach prior to hc).

A little late now but Lemonis didn't make changes and now we're just digging a deeper hole

Half our lineup looks like they should be playing at delta state. They don?t look like SEC baseball players. How did we get here?

    You're missing my point.

The reason we supposedly kept coach gautreau was because recruiting, for example. Why not go after the best hitting coach now that we have nil. As I said one that can recruit too but stress coaching over recruiting.
I guess hitting didn't look this bad towards the end of last year

Right and coach gautreau and lemonis were suppose to be top recruiters yet look at where that has us. Then look at why we lost Skeens. He wanted to play for a much better pitching coach

Ideally you want someone that can do both of course. I think some schools are hiring off the field staff to assist with hitting and base running. Not sure that we're doing that.

Whomever we have in these positions should be shown the door immediately because we suck at both.

I was at the Dude for both Austin P games. I was on the first row behind home plate. Up close. I can personally tell y?all our hitting and our hitting approach is just atrocious except for a couple. I mean really bad. Like jr. high school bad. The bottom part of line up shouldn?t see the field again. It is as if they have not practiced hitting at all. Several things I saw that should that should be fixed immediately by coaches. Oh that is obviously not being done by this coaching staff.

This "coaching" staff has become Arnett 2.0 the last two seasons and through 5 games this year with the lack of player evaluation/development and in game management.
