Runs Created (sabermetrics) - We're Back
This is my 2nd version of this for the year. You can find the earlier version here (each one links to the previous one, including back through the years):

You can also find a more in depth description of what this means in the previous one.
A few things stand out to me... Obviously, Rooker is amazing. His numbers are far above what anyone did on last years team. After Rooker though, the rest of the team is pretty far below where our hitters finished last year... all of them.
BABIP is good indicator of luck and/or skill when compared against other stats in a single season. That's more of an observation, than fact, but the things that stand out to me there are, Bragg has an unusally high BABIP. Given his other stats, it looks like this comes from his high strikeout ratio. It seems as if he could get better control of his Ks, he'd be much improved. In Mangum's case, however, it appears to have more to do with his talent to get hits. More of his at bats that aren't Ks or HRs go for hits than everyone elses except Rookers.
As always, the chart is sorted by "(RC/PA)*4" as I believe this is the single best indicator of how good a batter is assuming the sample size is large enough. Player Name
