According to ESPN, after the 3 block shots from Ado last night, he ties Vanardo with 67 block shots as a MSU freshman. Will he be able to overtake the record with career block shots by the time he graduates?

We can only hope so....
No. But that?s okay. Like I said in January, He still will be an all sec guy by Time he leaves
I highly doubt he catches jarvis. Jarvis had the perfect body for it, and he hung around the rim more than Ado does. Howland sends his big guys above the key more than Stans did (if I'm remembering right), and that mean Ado will be around less plays at the rim.
But we don't need another Swat, we just need a good all round post player. Which we all agree he's turning into. Hopefully the JuCo and Holman can join Ado to become a "swat by committee" so to speak
No. He won't even get close in my opinion. Varnado averaged a block about every 6 minutes of playing time over his career. Ado is currently at one block every 12 minutes of playing time. He got his 67 blocks playing twice as many minutes as Varnado did during their respective freshmen seasons.
Ado is the better all around player, but he won't even sniff Varnado's block record.
We played a ton of zone when Varnado was here, so he stayed under the basket. We play strictly man with Howland, so Ado is not under the basket as much. He will get blocks for sure, but he doesn't have as many opportunities.
I want to see where Ado progresses. Jarvis was really good by the time he was done here.
Ado is already in the record books at MSU for the most times falling down during a season. I want to start a game called Timber to count the times he and Teaira fall to the court during games and yell TIMBER as they fall
Ado is way better that SWAT on offense... Different player..
where's SWAT these days? playing in Europe or somewhere?
Hopefully someone shows Ado and the remainder of our team where the weight room is, after the season. Holy shit we look and play weak.
I like Ado- he is going to be a good player eventually
