He ruled she didn't touch the plate as she greeted her team mates waiting for her.
It was her 1st collegiate HR. it was a bamer girl in the tsun game.
Sorry, I would never make that call, even if it was a unm player. That's just shitty.

Wow. Didn't the same thing happen to Bama a week or so ago? Or is this the same one?
Not sure, could we be talking about the same call? All her team mates were gathered at home as her final step was a jump where both feet landed on what appeared home plate. Was not an obvious miss.
From my angle, couldn't tell one way or the other. The bamer coach was livid. Had it been me, I'd have cussed that ump till he ran me.
It happened a week or so ago in the Bama vs OM series.
****ing touch home plate.. shit.. she deserved it..
It sucks for her but the rule says you have to touch all the bases. I'd only go off on the umpire if she clearly touched all the bases and they called her out.
I'm not sure the ump had a clear enough view to make that kinda call since so many players were surrounding the plate. Would be cool if someone had a video.
Her team did this in the sec tourney when she hit a walk off bomb to beat ATM
