My first time to see Columbus this year.
Kylin Hill looks good. Size and speed.
#28 for Columbus is the feature back though. He is very good with size and speed too.
14-6. OB end of 1.
OB is passing with success.

So our 4 star RB isn't the feature back on his high school team?
Is it fair to be concerned about this?
Like I said, my 1st time to see them. Guy near me says Hill usually is the man. He says Must be a different game plan tonight.
Ok, to start 2nd quarter, 1 back set with Hill as only back. Just had a nice run
Relax on Hill
Hill just had a nice 50-60 yard run.
Took the handoff to the left. Hemmed up around the left hash. Reversed fields and out ran everyone around the right end for a long run.
Physical runner.
Hill with a 16 yard TD run.
19-14 Columbus 2nd quarter
Oh, ....and 3-4 parents ringing cowbells.
Hill had a couple of more nice runs in the 2nd half. He's going to be a good one.
Columbus wins. 48-35.
#12 and 54 looked good for OB too. Juniors though
Lol, Hill is the feature back. Period.
But can he pass block when he's a junior? That's what we need to know.
Feature probably wasn't a good word to use.
1st quarter, CHS used Hill as the H back, similar to how we use Dear. Gave Hill the ball on a few screens and end around.
But they used Hill at tailback beginning in the 2nd quarter.
Regardless Columbus had three guys rotating at tailback. It is good they don't run Hill every play. But if they did, he would have double the stats.
Columbus lost to Tupelo a couple weeks back something like 43-28 & Kylin scored 3 TDs with over 100 yards; FWIW Tupelo may take over for Clinton this week as the state's #1 team.
Hill is the best athlete on his team. They use him however they need to use him to win. Without Hill, that Columbus team would probably one win this season, at most.
Can Hill run without an OL?
Kylin ran 21 times for 220 yards 2tds last night.
