My momma's gone to heaven, but I'm taking my wife to Copelands for the brunch.
Here's a great Mother's Day gift idea.
Lingerie with matching oven mitts.
You'll damn sure find out if she has a sense of humor.
Doing something off the wall tonite....prime strips baked potato and red wine.
Tomorrow lots of crawfish at a party. Sunday I'm doing my ribs. Moms are pumped
Ordinary ribeyes tonight. What we call pork wrapped pork tomorrow. That's pork loin medallions wrapped in applewood smoked bacon done on the grill. Purple hull peas with smoked sausage and grilled red potatoes on the side. Saturday's fair is something of specialty of the house. It's a Mother's Day feast for one side of the family.
Chicago deep dish pizza with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms accompanied with a Bernardus Pinot Noir
Hamburgers and The Champagne of Beers.
Fish Whistle IPAs
Burger King grilled chkn sandwhich and sprite.
Bacon and cream cheese wrapped Axis Tenderloin with a Lone Star beverage today.
Cilantro lime flank steak tortillas with a Lone Star beverage tomorrow.
Ribs, slaw, and high life for dinner. Cookout at a buddies house. Now it's early bed time since mama wants early mass on Mother's Day
No grilling! Memphis in may gets started this week. I'll get all the grill food I can stand. I'm having bourbon tonight!
Grilling hamburgers and other stuff tonight in Philadelphia PA preparing for my daughters graduation tomorrow from Penn Law. Barclay Prime tomorrow night for much steak and drink.
Welcome to the board Caledonia and congratulations on your daughter. Hopefully your better half is there to celebrate with yall today as well.
As for me, I've discovered wynco grocery stores and they have these vacuum packed beef tenderloins for $6.21 per pound. You pull the whole thing out and slice em up to your own preferred thickness.
Based on my grilling skills, I'll put em up against any filet mignon in any fancy Texas steakhouse any day of the week.
I'll admit to enjoying the High Life from time to time. I have this odd idiosyncrasy though - I only like it in cans. The bottled version tastes lighter and flatter to me.
My typical purchase is a 12-pack of Yuengling, Banquet beer or Miller and a six pack of an IPA, currently Bell's Two Hearted or Founders Centennial.
Yep the wife is here too Bully13. Having a Mothers Day brunch soon at Roosters Soup Co.
Penn law... Congrats Caledonia. That's some prestige right there.
Had a Mother's Day breakfast at church and we're doing Crawfish tonight. Probably a few high life's too
Gonna cook my best in the world seafood gumbo today.
Mother's Day Crawfish boil. High life bottles
