Belmont's pitch recognition is non-existent. Hopefully something clicks this summer or next fall. If not- no way he starts next Spring

That saved a run, maybe 2
Down 2-1 and gonna have to go to pen in 6th. Who we go with?
Lol go figure the last two defensive plays made by Alexander and Poole. They still really really suck at the plate though.
Pilkington only going 4 innings is horse shit. He's too good to be pulling this garbage with the West on the line. If he'd quit being a nibbling Nancy and pitch like the bad ass he can be, we wouldn't be having to try and win games 2 & 3 to win series.
here's the deal, a guy doesn't foul that many balls straight back all season without exceptional hand eye coordination. His problem isn't pitch recognition. His problem is his front foot is never down planted before the ball is over the plate. You cant hit without a good base underneath you. he strides anywhere from 2 inches to 18 inches, etc. I'm sorry, but Bragg should've been given the nod weeks ago. Its ridiculous.
100 pitches thru 5 innings, geez. Hopefully somebody in the pen can step up. And what the 17 is poole doing in the lineup, he's an automatic out!!!
We've let Lange get his pitch count good now. We in trouble
This ump's strike zone is microscopic (to be fair). If it were a standard strike zone, it's possible 1-1 or still 1-0.
Auburn winning by 4 over OM. KY now beating UF as they focus on putting the best offensive guys in their lineup.
Mangum's bat discipline has to improve if he is going to be successful in the pros. You can't swing at a high breaking ball that is a ball that you can't do anything with. He gets into too many 1-2, 0-2 counts.
